Project Overview
Modern smart manufacturing factories have a large number of automated production lines, CNC equipment, and intermittent start-stop mechanical equipment. Traditional power management methods cannot accurately count the energy consumption of a single device, resulting in unclear energy consumption responsibility, difficult energy-saving optimization, and serious invisible power waste. This project aims to build a refined energy consumption management system for intelligent manufacturing workshops to realize digitized, visualized and controllable factory energy consumption.

Project Highlights & Solution According to the distribution of production lines and equipment in the workshop, we deploy high-precision DIN rail meters for independent metering and monitoring of each production line and key equipment. The equipment supports millisecond-level fast data collection, accurately captures the power consumption changes of equipment during startup, operation, standby and shutdown, and forms detailed energy consumption reports.
The system supports peak-valley time-of-use power statistics, which can accurately distinguish high-price peak power consumption and low-price valley power consumption of the factory. The background platform automatically analyzes equipment energy consumption efficiency, identifies high-energy-consumption equipment and abnormal power consumption nodes, and provides data basis for production scheduling adjustment and energy-saving transformation. All devices support Modbus standard protocol, which is perfectly compatible with factory MES and SCADA systems without secondary development.
Project Effect
The project realizes fine-grained energy consumption monitoring of “one device, one meter”. The factory’s ineffective energy consumption is reduced, the overall power saving rate reaches 10%–15%, and the energy management efficiency is greatly improved. It helps smart manufacturing enterprises realize green production, reduce carbon emissions and reduce operating costs.
